Growler

Hi:

I don't have a name yet but I'm looking forward to getting one. I've been living on the street for a while and was very hungry when Daria and her friend found me behind Target and brought me to Daria's house 12 days ago. Lee Ann has been feeding me too and Judy even brought me food. The food was very good. But, I really needed a home and was very sad that I didn't have one.

But, one day, Ruthie and Carl came to visit and I think they liked me and decided to let me live with them.....and Maggie. Lee Ann and Judy took me to the vet today---that was a little scary--but I was checked out and I'm a healthy neutered boy. I'm 9lbs and about 10 months old. The vet said that I don't have ear mites and I'm healthy and I might grow a little bigger too because I have big feet. I got a distemper and rabies shot which hurt.

Lee Ann has me in the garage for now and has a litter box, food, and comfy areas for me to rest. I'm SO HAPPY to have a home! I really appreciate all the scritch scratching everyone gave me and I'm going to miss this place a little but, I'm really happy that I'm getting a forever home. I've a very lucky boy.

Hi everyone:

I got a bath today! It was very scary but I sure do feel better now. I was a good boy in the tub and just stood there and got scrubbed up. I'm now back in the garage with warm towels and a cozy area to sleep on. I want to look the best I can for my new forever home. I can't wait for Saturday when I'll meet my new family and get a real name.

Hi everyone:

Yesterday, I was put back into the cat carrier and I thought I was going to the vet again. But this time, it was a LONG trip---longer than I'd taken before. I cried and cried and cried and cried....and cried some more....for 2 hours. FINALLY, the car stopped and I was let out of the carrier. The place I was at had more people and a dog that I met before.

After a while, I poked around the house and then jumped on the lap of a person who I found out later was my new person--Carl Jr. He scrit scratched me and that made me feel safe. I thought, ' wow....I think I like this place'. After a while, I got a scratch box (with CATNIP) and toys toys toys. I even have my OWN toy basket!

I don't have a name yet but I know that I like this place. I have a BIG poopy box and lots of food to eat. I'm a very lucky kitty.

As soon as I have a name, I'll let you know but one thing is for sure, there are a lot of nice people taking care of me.

Hi Everyone:

The people who brought me to my NEW and WONDERFUL home were visiting this weekend. I let them take a couple of pictures of me so you can see me. My new family has been very good to me. I get food every day, scritched scratched often, a great window to look out of, and Maggie to keep me company. I have LOTS of toys! I could have never imagined how good my life could be.

My new caretakers are kind to me and have given me a NAME....yes, No Name Kitty has a NAME. My name is GROWLER. I don't really growl but a growler is a 64 oz bottle of beer. One of my new owners makes beer and wanted to give me a 'beer related' name. I didn't care if they called me KITTY for the rest of my life but am happy to have a real name!

I'll keep you all updated on what is happening here. Remember, there are lots of unwanted kitties (like I was) who need a good home. Adopt a Pet!
